Temporary bypass for the avantfind.com error page - MysteryFCM

This is a temporary bypass to get rid of the avantfind.com error page you see when mis-typing a URL etc.

1. Go to Start > Run, type:

95/98/98SE/ME

notepad c:\windows\HOSTS

NT/2000/XP/Server 2003

notepad windows\system32\drivers\etc\HOSTS

2. Press enter to open the file
3. Add the following line;

127.0.0.1 *.avantfind.com
127.0.0.1 66.36.241.105

You should now receive the regular error page when mis-typing a URL.

Note: The Avantfind error page can now also be disabled via;

Tools > Avant Browser Options > Miscellaneous > "Enable Avant Browsing Error Page"
