To click or not to click - MysteryFCM

That horrible little clicking sound that you thought you could never get rid of can actually be disabled by following the instructions below;

Windows 9x/ME

Start > Settings > Control Panel

Windows NT/2000/XP/Server 2003

Start > Control Panel

Double click the "Sounds" icon (known as Sounds and Audio Devices in Windows XP) and scroll down to Windows Explorer.

Highlight Complete Navigation and in the Sound dropdown box, select "None", then do the same for Start Navigation and voila, your clicking sound is gone forever.
